Selection criteria for events within the EU-Russia Year of Science:
The main organisers of the event must represent the high quality of EU and Russian science and research, higher education and innovation.
The event must reflect the diversity and richness of EU and/or Russian science and research, higher education and innovation; it must demonstrate a strong focus, and include dedicated component/s, on EU-Russia cooperation.
The event must be of sufficient interest to attract target audiences in Russia and the EU; it must have the potential to engage the scientific communities and other target audiences (higher education, private sector), and to engage the wider public in the EU and/or Russia.
The cooperative approach of the event, involving actors in both the EU and Russia, must be clearly visible.1
Applicants must accept the following general conditions:
Selection for the EU-Russia Year of Science official events list does not give organisers the right to apply for any funds (no financial support available)
Conformity to the rules regarding the use of the title and the logo of the EU-Russia Year of Science
Events must take place between 25 November 2013 and 30 November 2014
Decisions taken by the Secretariat of the EU-Russia Year of Science regarding the official list of events will be binding.
1) It is not necessary that the organisers of the event represent more than one EU Member State.
